There’s a divine principle that never stops working in the life of a believer, the Law of Increase. This is not man’s idea. It’s God’s covenant pattern for abundance, designed so that His people can live in overflow and be a blessing to others.
From Genesis to Revelation, this law has never changed. The same God who multiplied Abraham’s cattle, Isaac’s crops, and the widow’s oil is the same God who wants to multiply you.
Genesis 1:28 records God’s first words to mankind:
“Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it.”
Increase is in your spiritual DNA,
Kenneth Copeland teaches that increase is not a random miracle; it’s a spiritual law that always produces when activated by faith. He writes,
“Until you begin to understand that law, you will never be able to have real spiritual success—in the area of prosperity or anywhere else”
If you’re a child of God, you’ve been born into an inheritance of abundance. Jesus said in John 10:10, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
The Word Is the Seed of Increase
In God’s kingdom, increase doesn’t come from luck; it comes from seed.
Mark 4:26-28 says,
“So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground… For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.”
The Word of God is your seed, and your heart is the ground. When you speak and act on the Word, you activate the law of increase.
Brother Copeland explains that this law operates just like natural farming: you sow, you water, you wait in faith, and the harvest must come. He says,
“I can preach to you about prosperity all day long, but if you take the Word and measure it with skepticism and doubt, you still won’t prosper.”
Giving Activates the Law
Giving isn’t loss, it’s multiplication in motion. Luke 6:38 promises,
“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.”
When you give in faith, you’re not diminishing your supply; you’re planting for a greater return. You can’t outgive God because giving is His very nature.
As Brother Copeland says, “He measures the blessings back to us according to the way we measure the Word. If we measure it with a hundredfold measure, we’ll get a hundredfold blessing.”
You are a steward of both your and His resources. When you sow as He directs, you open the door to supernatural increase.
Guard Your Harvest
The law of increase doesn’t fail, but it can be hindered by fear, doubt, and neglect. That’s why Proverbs 4:23 warns, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
Keep your faith strong. Keep your words aligned with the Word. Speak abundance. Expect harvest. God’s system always works when His people work it.
Galatians 3:29 declares, “If ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
That promise is increase without sorrow, the kind that glorifies God and changes lives. The more you grow in His ways, the more you’ll experience this truth: increase isn’t seasonal, it’s covenant.
Faith Declaration
Father, I thank You for the law of increase working in my life. I sow in faith, speak in faith, and expect my harvest. The windows of heaven are open over me, and I receive supernatural multiplication, not for greed, but for giving. I am a covenant child, blessed to be a blessing, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
