The Blessing of the Tithe

21 Nov 2025

Tithing is not a religious ritual; it’s a covenant act. It’s the spiritual doorway through which the blessing flows unhindered. Kenneth Copeland teaches that the tithe is not just about giving; it’s about positioning yourself under the open windows of heaven.

The tithe is the blessing connector. It connects you to the source of your increase.

When you tithe, you’re not paying God; you’re honoring Him. You’re acknowledging that He is your source, your supply, and your sustainer. And when you do it in faith, the blessing is activated.

The Covenant of the Tithe

Malachi 3:10-11 declares

“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse… and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

This is not symbolic. It’s literal. God promises overflow, not just enough, but more than enough. And He backs it with protection:

“And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes…”

Brother Copeland explains that the tithe is a spiritual transaction. It’s not just about money, it’s about trust. It’s about covenant alignment.

“God is to come first—before your bills, before your savings, even before your taxes.”

When you tithe, you’re saying, ‘God, I trust You more than I trust my paycheck.

The Blessing Is Released Through Obedience

Tithing is obedience, and obedience unlocks the blessing. It’s not about legalism, it’s about love. When you tithe, you’re responding to God’s goodness with honor.

Hebrews 7:8 says,

“Here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.”

Jesus receives your tithe in heaven. It’s a heavenly transaction with earthly impact.

“The tithe is not a debt you owe; it’s a seed you sow.”

Tithing Protects and Multiplies

The blessing of the tithe is twofold: protection and multiplication. God not only pours out abundance, He also guards what you have. Your harvest is shielded. Your seed is secure.

“The tithe is the spiritual force that keeps the blessing flowing and the devourer out.”

When you tithe consistently, you build a lifestyle of supernatural provision. You’re not living by the world’s economy — you’re living by heaven’s.

Faith Declaration

Father, I honor You with my tithe. I trust You as my source and my supply. I thank You for open windows, divine protection, and supernatural increase. I am a covenant tither, and the blessing is working in my life. I receive it with joy, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Call to Action

Take time today to honor God with your tithe. Don’t delay — act in faith. Write down Malachi 3:10–11 and speak it aloud daily. Let it renew your confidence in God’s covenant. Then sow your tithe with expectation, knowing that heaven’s windows are open and the devourer is rebuked. Your obedience activates the blessing.
