Father, I’m going to live my life anxious for nothing. I pray with thanksgiving about everything, making my requests known to You. Your peace, which passes all understanding, keeps my heart and mind through Jesus Christ.

You will keep me in perfect peace for my mind is fixed on You. I trust in You. I seek peace and pursue it. I know Your peace will rule in my heart and my ways will please You so that You will make even my enemies to be at peace with me.

I pray I’ll be like a tree planted by the water whose roots are deep, and that I won’t be nervous about the heat or worried by long months of drought because I trust in You and my hope and confidence are in You.

Thank You, Lord, that You lead me with peace of heart and mind. The peace You give me is a gift the world cannot give. I’ll not let my heart be anxious or afraid. I won’t lean to my own understanding. I’ll trust in You with all my heart. Amen!
