There are parts of the world where the road disappears, the paths crumble, and the only way forward is faith. But those are the very places where the gospel shines brightest — and where Evangelist Seth Kobo has answered the call with boldness, grit, and supernatural help from God.
For more than 18 years, his ministry has focused on reaching rural villages with the gospel — often in areas where few have ever heard the name of Jesus.
Seth says everything changed the moment he connected with Kenneth Copeland Ministries. “The treatment we receive from KCM Africa is amazing,” he says — “not because of convenience, but because of the spiritual quality, the love, and the partnership that fuels their mission.” Through prayer, support, and shared vision, that partnership has helped strengthen outreaches and church planting across Southern Africa.
A DEVINE APPOINTMENT IN ESWATINI
During an outreach in a rural village in Eswatini, the team ministered faithfully, though the response seemed small. Then, on the final Sunday, something unexpected happened.
A seven-year-old boy walked a long distance — alone — to give his life to Jesus. There had been no special invitation. He simply heard the meeting would take place and decided to attend.
Seth remembers the moment clearly. The child had no Bible of his own, but his hunger for God was evident. Two weeks later, through the support of KCM, a package arrived, delivering the Word of God directly into his hands. What appeared to be a quiet outreach became a divine appointment that left a lasting impact on everyone involved.
FAITH THAT GOES WHERE ROADS DON’T
Most of Seth’s ministry isn’t located in cities or on paved roads. His base is in the mountains of Lesotho, where even sturdy vehicles struggle to travel.
He jokes about it, but there’s nothing casual about it:
“With our little bakkie… if you take videos, you’ll hear it’s like it’s complaining. But it’s been complaining for 12 years.”
And yet, that same bakkie has carried the gospel where few dare to go — across washed-out roads, steep paths, and isolated villages. “We’ve gone to places where roads used to be,” Seth explains. Yet the message remains the same: faith will always find a way.
PLANTING LIFE IN REMOTE PLACES
Over the past 18 years, Seth and his team have planted four churches in the remote mountains of Lesotho — churches that are alive, growing, and serving their communities. They are now in the process of establishing a mission base that will allow them to reach surrounding valleys where people have never heard the name of Jesus.
Imagine walking into a village and meeting people who have never once heard the gospel. Seth describes these places plainly: “There are still people who, when you talk to them about Jesus, don’t know what you’re talking about.” Those are the communities his heart is drawn to — and partnership is what makes reaching them possible.
And partnership is what makes it possible.
GOD HAD AFRICA IN MIND
Seth speaks with deep gratitude for Kenneth and Gloria Copeland. “Thank you, Brother Copeland and Sister Gloria, for your obedience. When you took that step, God had us in mind. Not only Americans — He saw me. He saw Africa. He saw the surrounding countries.”
Through partnership with KCM, the gospel continues to reach villages, valleys, and people who might otherwise never hear it. Seth sees this clearly: obedience doesn’t stop with one person — it multiplies through others and reaches far beyond what any individual could do alone.
FAITH DECLARATION
“Father, I thank You that the gospel shall reach the unreached. I walk in supernatural boldness, equipped and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Doors open before me, provisions flow to me, and nations are touched through me. I am a labourer in the harvest, and by faith, every village and every life You send me to will encounter Jesus. In His Name, Amen!”
