When we have decisions to make about business relationships that will affect our future and our families, we would be better off to enter into relationships with people who share like faith and values and who have maintained reputations of high integrity and service.
Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?” In a business partnership, agreement in decisions both large and small is key to moving forward and being all God intends for your partnership to be.
As you consider going into a business partnership, ask the Lord about your decision and be sure you are becoming “yoked” with the people He has planned for you. And, always do your due diligence in checking people out to make sure you know all you need to know about them. Of course, above all, always be diligent in fulfilling your side of the partnership in action and attitude!
