First, let us encourage you in what the Word says about God’s plans for you. His plans are for your good and not evil, and they lead to the hope of a bright future (Jeremiah 29:11)! But when it doesn’t feel like good things are happening, that brings pressures—pressures Jesus understands. Not only does He understand what we are going through, but He also desires to help us in times of need. You can always be assured you are not alone!

The enemy will seize every opportunity to discourage us in the area of our finances. But we can take authority over him in the Name of Jesus. The Bible says the devil comes to steal and to kill and to destroy, but Jesus has come to give life more abundantly (John 10:10).

In regard to bankruptcy, we encourage those considering bankruptcy to seek counsel from a licensed financial advisor who can help determine the best route to take. There are several Christian organizations that offer free financial counseling, and if you’re facing financial challenges, we know the Holy Spirit will direct you to the help and resources you need. Remember, God liberally supplies all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Also, receive this encouragement according to Ephesians 1:17-18: “May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, by having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones)!
