When you were lost, it did not matter which sin you committed—sin is sin. Adultery, lying or anything else that the flesh produces in the life of the sinner is the result of the sinner following his true nature. None of these sins are being held against anyone (2 Corinthians 5:19). The only sin keeping someone out of the kingdom of God is rejecting Jesus.

When you made Jesus your Lord, you became a new creation. And new means “new in every way.” Old things passed away and all things became new (2 Corinthians 5:17).

The Apostle Paul put so much faith in the blood of Jesus after his conversion that he could write in 2 Corinthians 7:2 that he had wronged no man, corrupted no man and defrauded no man. We know from the book of Acts that the reason Jesus stopped him on the road to Damascus was to stop the persecutions he was doing to the Church. Saul of Tarsus, who later was called Paul, became a new creature. His past life had been buried and he was walking in the newness of life in Christ Jesus. He was not answering to people; he was answering to God.
