The Bible says in 1 Peter 3:1 for the wife to be in subjection to her husband with her conversation, so if he obey not the Word, he may with the Word be won by the conversation of his wife. It is the love of God that flows from your heart in your every word that he will notice and cause him to want to act on the Word. The best help your husband can receive is you living a godly life before him by putting the Word first place in your own life.

SO LIVE THE WORD BEFORE HIM, BE STRONG IN THE LORD BEFORE HIM. LIVE THE LOVE LIFE BEFORE HIM. Walk in love but not in weakness. Continue feeding on God’s Word.

Operate in the love of God and guard your own tongue. Your tongue sets the course of nature around you. Pray the prayer of the Apostle Paul in Colossians 1: That your husband be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that he walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

One of the greatest acts of the love of God is intercession. This love goes beyond natural love; it goes to the root of any problem. It will stop the forces of darkness and give your husband the opportunity to see the glorious light of the gospel and come to the knowledge of the truth.

As you pray and intercede for your husband, you open the door for God’s power to work in his life (James 5:16; 1 John 5:14-15). No matter who you are praying for, never be moved by what you see. Walk by faith and not by sight. The Word of God will always work!
