In the heart of a South African community marked by poverty and high unemployment, a light shines brightly—thanks to the faith and generosity of KCM Africa Partners.
Feed Thy Kids Daycare (FTK) is a fully sponsored, no-cost daycare centre that serves over 60 children between the ages of 1 and 5. It’s more than just a daycare; it’s a safe haven where children are fed, cared for, and introduced to the love of Jesus in a nurturing, joy-filled environment.
Established in 2016 and supported through twice-sown seed from KCM Africa, FTK provides two nutritious meals a day and a secure, loving space for children to play, learn, and grow. The name Feed Thy Kids was inspired by Song of Solomon 1:8 (KJV), which says, “Feed thy kids beside the shepherd’s tents.” True to its name, FTK stands as a modern-day shepherd’s tent, offering refuge and care to the youngest and most vulnerable.
For parents who work tirelessly to provide for their families—often under difficult and dangerous circumstances—FTK offers peace of mind. In a region where threats like kidnapping and human trafficking are all too real, FTK has become a place of divine protection. Here, every child is surrounded by love, prayer, and dedicated caregivers who see their role as a calling from God.
Through the ministry of FTK, practical needs are met, but the impact goes deeper. Seeds of purpose, creativity, and joy are sown into young lives. Children learn that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God. In a world that can often seem uncertain, FTK declares with confidence: “With Jesus, you can live a life of victory!”
