“Surely He hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows…” —Isaiah 53:4 (KJV)
When Jesus went to the Cross, He didn’t just carry our sins—He carried everything that ever tried to weigh us down. Sickness, sorrow, fear, pain… all of it was laid on Him. And just like your salvation, your healing was paid for—completely and eternally.
It’s time we stop treating healing like a side benefit of redemption. It’s not optional. It’s not occasional. It’s part of the same covenant promise that saved your soul.
The price has been paid—and it was paid in full.
Glory be to God!
The Price Was the Same
Kenneth Copeland puts it this way: “The healing of your physical body cost God the same price as the salvation of your spirit.”
Let that settle in your spirit.
The stripes on Jesus’ back—the bruises, the torment, the chastisement—weren’t partial payments. They were the full remittance of sin, sickness, sorrow, and lack. Isaiah 53:5 says, “…with His stripes we are healed.” That word “stripes” in the Hebrew can also be translated “bruise.” It’s the same bruise that dealt with your iniquity that dealt with your sickness. One act. One Savior. One sacrifice.
You don’t have to carry what Jesus already bore.
You’re Not Meant to Die Sick
Some people still ask, “Well, how am I supposed to die if I don’t get sick?”
Brother Copeland answers plainly: “The Bible says you’ll just cease to breathe.” (See Psalm 104:29.)
You’re not designed to wear out in pain and suffering. You’re redeemed! Your physical body may be getting older, but your inward man is renewed day by day (2 Corinthians 4:16). Moses didn’t even start his ministry until he was 80—and at 120, his eyes weren’t dim, nor his strength abated (Deuteronomy 34:7). That same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead is alive in you today (Romans 8:11)!
That means strength in your bones, vitality in your cells, and clarity in your mind.
Healing Is Not a Maybe—It’s a Benefit
Psalm 103:2–3 tells us: “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.”
Healing is not a bonus. It’s a benefit.
It’s your covenant right as a believer. Just like salvation, healing is part of the gospel package. To deny healing is to minimize what Jesus endured. He paid for it, and God was pleased to accept that payment (Isaiah 53:10). Why? So you wouldn’t have to pay it again!
Don’t Wait Until It’s Deeply Rooted
Brother Copeland teaches that the first sign of a symptom is the time to act.
You don’t wait until sin takes root to repent. In the same way, you don’t wait until sickness settles in to confess your healing. At the first sign, you say: “No, in Jesus’ Name! By His bruises, I am healed!”
The power is in the Word. The Word works every time. But you’ve got to work the Word. Speak it. Believe it. Live like it’s already done—because it is.
Healing Always Comes
This is one of the most powerful revelations of all: Healing always comes. It’s not a matter of whether God gave it—it’s whether we receive it.
Don’t let unbelief or tradition keep you from receiving what Jesus already made available. You’re not waiting on God. He’s waiting on you.
And if you’ll get in agreement with His Word, healing will manifest in your life. Because your healing isn’t on layaway. It’s not pending. It’s not partial.
It’s paid in full.
