A few years ago, while preparing to minister in Italy, a familiar shout rose in my spirit with fresh power—a truth that has never left me: HE’S ALIVE!
Think about it—Jesus lives! And because He lives, everyone who receives Him can experience the same resurrection power! Because He lives, we no longer have to search for answers in empty tombs or powerless religions. As the angels declared on Resurrection morning, “Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen” (Luke 24:5-6).
The Power of His Resurrection
Jesus is alive. His Word is alive. And today, His life is manifesting through His Body—the Church—like never before.
The resurrection of Jesus wasn’t just about restoring His physical life. It was about revealing and imparting the very Zoe life of God. The Apostle John describes it in 1 John 1:1-3, calling Jesus the Word of Life. This eternal life—God’s very essence—was made available to us through Jesus.
God’s life was revealed in two powerful manifestations:
- At Bethlehem, when the Word became flesh (John 1:14).
- At the resurrection, when God’s Word raised Jesus from the dead (Hebrews 1:5-6).
When God speaks, things happen! His Word, filled with life and power, conquered death forever. The same Word that brought Jesus to life is the Word that brings us to life today!
Seated in Victory
Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father (Hebrews 1:3). but here’s the best part—we are seated with Him!
Ephesians 2:5-6 declares:
“Even when we were dead in sins, [God] hath quickened us together with Christ…and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”
We are not just heirs—we are joint heirs with Christ (Romans 8:16-17). The same resurrection life that raised Him is now alive in us!
Jesus Is Alive in You Now
We are not waiting for some future move of God to experience His power. His power is already in us! The world is searching for answers, and they’re really searching for Jesus—even if they don’t realize it. Those who seek healing, peace, and deliverance are seeking Him.
And where is He? In you and I today.
Romans 8:11 says:
“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”
Jesus Himself prayed in John 17:22:
“And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them.” His glory is already in us!
Activate the Life Within You
How do we activate this life and walk in the fullness of who we are in Christ?
- Live by faith in the Son of God. “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me” (Galatians 2:20).
- Walk in love. Jesus commanded us to love God and love our neighbor (Matthew 22:37-39).
- Speak and act on His Word. “The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63).
He Is Alive—And So Are You!
Jesus is alive—and His life is alive in you. We are not waiting for the glory of God to be revealed. It is here. It is now. It is in us.
The time for settling for less is over. We are not just in a religion—we are in LIFE. The very zoe life of God is ours, and the world is waiting to see it manifest in us.
Declare it boldly today: JESUS IS ALIVE IN ME!
