Empowered To Prosper—Past, Present and Future

4 Jul 2025

Not just yesterday. Not just someday. You are blessed right now. That’s the past, present and future reality of God’s covenant power working in your life.

God’s blessing is not just a nice word we use in church. It’s a spiritual force. It’s God’s empowerment for you to prosper in every area of life—spiritually, physically, mentally, financially, and socially.

You Are Loosed From the Curse

In Luke 13, Jesus encountered a woman bound by a spirit of infirmity for 18 years. He didn’t say, “Maybe someday you’ll be healed.” No, He said:

“Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.” —Luke 13:12

Why? Because she was a daughter of Abraham. She had a covenant with Almighty God, and that covenant carried the power to heal her.

Jesus didn’t operate in delay. He operated in the present tense. And He expects us to do the same.

Blessed with Abraham

Galatians 3:13-14 says, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law…that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ.”

When you said yes to Jesus, you stepped into covenant. You became part of the seed of Abraham (Galatians 3:29). That means the blessings of Abraham are YOURS—right now!

You are:

  • Empowered to prosper spiritually. That means being born again, filled with the Spirit, and walking in the gifts.
  • Empowered to prosper physically. That means walking in health and strength to accomplish God’s will.
  • Empowered to prosper mentally. That means soundness of mind, emotional stability, and wisdom beyond your years.

And prosperity isn’t just for your benefit—it’s for your testimony.

Blessing vs. Cursing

In covenant terms, to bless means to empower to prosper, while to curse means to empower to fail. Let’s read Galatians 3:13 in this new light, “Christ has redeemed us from being empowered to fail by being empowered to fail for us: for it is written, empowered to fail is everyone who hangs on a tree: That the empowerment to prosper from Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

God’s promise to Abraham still stands today. He told him:

“I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee…” —Genesis 12:3

Which means: “I will empower to prosper anyone who empowers you to prosper. And I will stop the success of anyone who tries to bring you down.”

God isn’t playing favourites. He’s honouring His Word.

How To Walk in the Blessing

If you want to live empowered to prosper, here’s your key: Be a blessing.

Bless others. Speak life. Give generously. Pray for your neighbours. Empower others to succeed, and God will make sure you succeed.

The blessing is not just about receiving. It’s about partnering with God to bring increase to others.

So don’t wait another moment. Not someday. Not maybe. Not when the conditions are right. Today.

Declare it in faith:

“I am Abraham’s seed. I am loosed. I am empowered to prosper in every area of my life—right now!”

Meditate on these scriptures:

  • Galatians 3:6–14; 3:29
  • Luke 13:10–16
  • Deuteronomy 28:1–13

You are blessed. Right now.

Jesus didn’t go to the cross so you could live defeated. He redeemed you from the curse. He empowered you to walk in THE BLESSING.

Now it’s time to live like it. Receive it. Speak it. Release it.

You have the power to prosper—right now.

Jesus is Lord!
