Always Having

3 Oct 2025

Imagine a life where you always have enough, not just for yourself, but to overflow into the lives of others. Enough to do everything God has put in your heart for His kingdom. Enough to bless others everywhere you go. Enough to live joyfully and show the world how good your heavenly Father really is.

That’s not just wishful thinking. That’s God’s plan for you.

In Every Season

The world says it’s impossible, especially in times of economic crisis. But if you’re a born-again believer, God says not only is it possible, it’s His will.

Second Corinthians 9:6, 8 says:

“…he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.”

Gloria and I have seen that truth in action for more than 55 years. We’ve lived through financial downturns, market crashes, and political upheavals. Yet in the middle of it all, we kept right on always having.

That doesn’t mean we never had needs. When we started in ministry, we needed everything! We knew God had called us to preach His uncompromised Word around the world, but we didn’t even have the money to get out of town.

One day, while I was praying about it, the Lord spoke to me:

“Have you ever noticed in My Word that when My people cried out, I always sent a man to help them? When Israel cried for deliverance, I sent Moses. When the world cried for salvation, I sent Jesus. Now, I’m sending you.”

I was stunned. I didn’t have money for gas, much less for global ministry. But God wasn’t talking about what I had, He was talking about what He wanted to make me. He called me to be a distributor of His Word and His resources.

So I said, “Lord Jesus, Sir, I am Yours to command.”

That decision opened the door to a life of always having.

Rich Is Not a Dirty Word

Some believers struggle with this. They’ve been taught that “rich” is a dirty word, that poverty somehow equals holiness. I used to believe that myself. But when I started reading the Word for myself, I discovered that God says the exact opposite.

Psalm 112 paints a powerful picture of the righteous man:

“Wealth and riches will be in his house, and his righteousness endures forever” (verse 3, NKJV).

That psalm is a blueprint of God’s plan for your prosperity. It proves you can have money without compromising your righteousness. Wealth in the hands of the righteous is kingdom wealth.

Don’t let bad news shake you. Don’t let recessions, inflation, or market reports dictate your future. As a believer, you live under God’s economy, not the world’s. And in His economy, the financial report always states: You are always having.

A Distributor for God’s Kingdom

Second Corinthians 9:10 says Jesus “ministereth seed to the sower.” That means He administers resources into your hands, not just for your benefit, but so you can distribute them to others.

You might think, “But I don’t have anything to give.” That’s not true. You always have something. If it’s not in your wallet, it might be in your closet, your pantry, or simply in your words of kindness and encouragement.

Every word, every action, every seed of generosity can become a blessing in someone’s life.

And the more you sow, the more He multiplies. I saw this firsthand when the Lord told me to give $50,000 to Brother Kenneth E. Hagin’s ministry. At that time, I had never even seen that much money. But I agreed to be His delivery boy.

I set aside what I could, sowed it little by little, and before long I had surpassed the $50,000 mark, without ever coming up short in my own finances. That’s the joy of being a distributor.

Your Part

This kind of life isn’t just for preachers. It’s for every believer. Jesus has called all of us to be kingdom distributors.

All it takes is a willing heart. Simply say:

“Lord Jesus, Sir, I am Yours to command.”

Then listen. Be ready to obey. As you give what He directs, He will multiply your seed and increase your harvest so you can give more and more and more.

In the process, your own needs will be met abundantly. Lack will no longer define your life. You’ll step into God’s plan of always having, always sowing, always reaping, always blessed.

And you’ll discover that living this way isn’t just abundant, it’s more fun than you’ve ever had in your life.

Confession of Faith

I live in God’s economy, not the world’s.
I am a sower, and I reap bountifully.
God makes all grace abound toward me so that I always have all sufficiency in all things.
Wealth and riches are in my house, and my righteousness endures forever.
I am a distributor of God’s blessings, spiritually, financially, and in every good work.
I will never lack. I am always having, always sowing, always reaping, and always blessed.

In Jesus’ Name. Amen!

Say this confession daily. Watch how God multiplies your seed, meets your needs, and positions you to be a blessing everywhere you go.
