In 1984, during one of Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke’s massive tent crusades in Soweto, something unforgettable happened. Kenneth and Gloria Copeland arrived with a message they believed came directly from the Lord. They told Evangelist Bonnke that God was instructing them to enter a divine partnership with Christ for All Nations — a partnership where CFAN would preach to the lost, and Kenneth Copeland Ministries would minister to the saved.
That day, a prophetic word was spoken — clear and direct. Not just any word, but a word that would change history.
Kenneth Copeland declared that CFAN would one day witness more than one million people saved in a single service. At the time, no such meeting had ever taken place. But the Word of the Lord stood firm.
The prophecy was fulfilled sixteen years later, in the year 2000. The historic Millennium Crusade took place in Lagos, Nigeria. CFAN saw 1.6 million people give their hearts to the Lord in a single meeting — a moment Jacques describes as the fulfilment of God’s spoken word.
THE GOSPEL IN UNPRECEDENTED NUMBERS
The fulfilment of that prophecy wasn’t the end — it was the beginning. It opened the door to even greater harvest. Over the years, CFAN has witnessed gatherings of more than two million people in a single service, many of them in Nigeria.
Jacques recalls standing before oceans of worshippers, calling it “the closest experience to heaven” he had ever known.
To him, these moments are not statistics. They are lives — men, women, and children hearing the gospel, many of them for the first time. They are the kind of moments only God can orchestrate, yet He chooses to do it through people who obey His voice.
These are not just events — they are living evidence of what God can do when obedience meets partnership.
THE POWER OF PARTNERSHIP
As CFAN’s Southern Africa Director, Jacques has seen firsthand how the Great Commission requires more than one ministry or one person. He explains,
“No ministry can exist without the partnership of others.”

Partnership is not about one ministry assisting another. It is about carrying out the assignment of God together — each part supplying what the other needs. Jacques often emphasises that every salvation, every crusade, and every breakthrough belongs to the partners who stand with the ministry.
He describes it this way: “Partnership is God bringing people together for one purpose — to reach the lost. No one ministry can do it alone.”
