I believe what Your Word says in 2 Timothy 1:7: “God has not given me a spirit of timidity and fear. He has given me a spirit of power and of love and of a calm and well-balanced mind, discipline and self-control.” You have not given me a spirit of fear. You have given me a spirit of power, love, a calm and well-balanced mind and self-control. I have a level head and don’t get overwhelmed by challenging people or situations. I am a calm presence in the midst of challenging situations, I am disciplined in my emotions and I practice self-control.
