Question of the Day

When Kenneth and Gloria started their journey of faith they had question too - lots of them! So, we've compiled the most frequent asked questions by people like you - people who earnestly desire to find God's answers to the practical, real-life challenges of everyday living. We have a new question every day, so check back often.

Q: Does God want us to eat only natural foods?

A: Well, wisdom about the benefits of natural foods certainly doesn’t hurt. The Apostle Paul stated in Romans 12 that we are to present our bodies a “living sacrifice,” holy and acceptable, to God. We are to renew our minds and not be conformed to the world in order to prove the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Eating the wrong foods certainly does not allow the believer to glorify God in his body. Yet, many Christians have never taken the time to find out what is in the food they are eating.

Food today is processed in such a manner that many of its healthy properties have been weakened. Many illnesses could be avoided by eating food that is not contaminated. Therefore, eating foods in their most natural form is advisable, but by no means should it replace living by faith.
