We just thank you tonight that we are able to meet together in great, great unity. By the wonders God has permitted to be known in this century, we are now meeting together all over this earth, loving You together, walking in an anointing of God together. Father, what You want to teach us and show us, and how You want to move through us in this hour, we pray that we will yield to the Holy Ghost, and it shall be done. We yield to the Holy Spirit tonight. We all know that it’s not by might, and not by power, but by your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, we thank You, Lord. Amen.

 

Chuck, did you find the piano? He’s there. Praise the Lord. I was just thinking: I’ve known what to preach ever since Brother Osteen asked us to come and be on the satellite network. He mentioned this morning about two offices that the Lord uses me in. One of them is a teacher. I like to teach, just lay it out there, line upon line, and precept upon precept, and go into the Word of God. But since I knew I was going to come here, God started talking to me right away about what He wants me to preach. What He wants me to bring you tonight, goes along more with the other office. It might not be just A-B-C, then I go home, like we did this morning. God wants to move us some place in the Spirit. He wants to expand us and to minister to us by another office. So tonight He has asked me to minister a sermon that He gave me, a teaching. It’s called “Walking in the Light.”

 

When God first started giving it to me, He gave it to me just here a little, there a little, like He does. And the first thing He gave me on it was a little song. I was in a camp meeting in Missouri, and some missionaries came there from South Africa. They shared with us this little song. They said they had gotten it from the Zulu Christians. They would sometimes sing it for hours and that the anointing of God would fall and move in those places. When they brought that little song that night, I don’t know how, but by the power of God and by the wonder that God is, He just welded me with those people all the way around the world. I just felt so one with them. We are one, according to the Word of God. We just didn’t manifest it much. We didn’t act like it. But God said to me recently, “You’re going to start looking like it, and acting like it, and walking like it, and moving in the power that there is in being one. Our trouble is, I’m talking about the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, we just didn’t manifest it much. We didn’t act like it. But God said to me recently, “You’re going to start looking like it, and acting like it, and walking like it, and moving in the power that there is in being one. So, when they sang this little song—and it was very eventful to me because just before I left home, doctors told me my daddy was dying; and I had to go that camp meeting thinking that. Well he didn’t die, bless the Lord. He is alive and well! We had a miracle healing. But it was an especially tender time in my life, just a real tender time. Nobody ever leaves messages for me in my hotel room, but every time I’d go back there, there’d be that red blinking light on my telephone. And the devil would say, “You’re daddy is dead, and you left and came up here.” So it was a tender time for me. But God moved and He started giving me this message that I’m going to bring tonight with this little song. It’s just in the key of C, and you can sing it with us out there. It’s just real easy.

Now if you don’t remember anything else I say tonight, and you just remember that song, that is good doctrine, and you’re going to make it. All God expects out of you is that you just keep walking in the light of God. Now, we’re going to talk about that for these next minutes. Please be seated. Walking in the light of God. That’s the title if you you’re keeping notes.

 

First, we’re going to define our terms. Both the Hebrew word and the Greek word translated “walking” in our Bibles (Hebrew is OT; Greek is the NT)—they have a root word which is a picture word. That word is a picture of carrying something. So when the Bible talks about “walking,” it has this root word, “to carry.” It means “to carry on; to carry onward; to carry upward; to walk on to carry on.” We not only enter life in the spirit with God; but we are told to walk in the spirit, to carry on, to walk on upward, and ever onward. The progress with God is always ever onward and upward; from glory, to glory, to glory, to glory, to glory, to glory, to glory. His way is never for us to stop somewhere along the way. For then you fall into backsliding. His way is to walk in love, walk in faith, walk in the spirit—to carry onward and upward with God. So that’s what we mean by “walk.” Walk in the light.

 

Now for the light. We are going to let the Bible define the light. Turn to the book of 1 John. We will begin with the first verse. You know what this is talking about, as John the Apostle writes. He was one of the twelve apostles. Those who were chosen as a witness because they were with Jesus. They touched Him, they handled Him. He was among them in the flesh. The Bible speaks of many more than twelve apostles, but those twelve were the witnesses who stood in the place other apostles cannot stand, because they walked with Jesus, manifested in the flesh. So here, John, one of those men, describes that walk that they had. 1 John 1:1:

That which was from the beginning (speaking of Jesus), which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you.

 

We touched Him, we handled Him, we walked with Him, and what we saw and what we heard, we’re to declare to you. We’re the twelve apostles of the Lamb. We are going to declare it to you. And we are going to declare it to you for a purpose. And here’s the purpose, verse 3: “That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, That ye also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.”

 

That which we saw, that which we heard, that which we got from Him, we’re going to declare to you, and we’re going to declare it to you for this propose, that you may have fellowship with us as well. Now, that word “fellowship” does not mean that we would go over to the cafeteria and have a cup of coffee and a piece of cake and talk about the day. The Amplified Bible gets closer to the meaning of the Greek word and translates it like this: “That we might realize and enjoy fellowship as partners and partakers with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.”

 

This word “fellowship” is a working relationship. John said, “We’re going to declare what Jesus told us, so that you can enter into fellowship with us, with the Father, with the Son as partners in a great cause, the greatest in the whole of creation. As partakers of His nature, and partners in the great work of God. We are not living in a hodge-podge world. Oh, it seems hodge-podge, but the things that are going on, there is a great, divine, overall purpose and plan. God, the Father, is the head of it. The Apostle John says that “we heard from Jesus something that allowed us to enter in as a partaker with God, the creator of the universe and as a partner in what He is doing. We are going to declare to you what Jesus told us, so that you can enter into that same fellowship as a partner, as a partaker in this great business with God, the Father, with His Son Jesus Christ, and even with the twelve.

 

We want to offer you here, not partnership with Howard Hughes, not partnership with J. Paul Getty, but partnership with the creator of the universe. We’re not just having church. We’re not just having “be nice” religion. We’re having partnership with God! And we heard something from Jesus. He said that allows us to enter into that partnership. Verse 3 says:

That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that (for this purpose) you also may have fellowship (as a partner and partaker) with us; and truly our fellowship (as partners and partakers) is with the Father and with His son, Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you.

 

He’s already said that Jesus came, we walked with Him, we touched Him. He told us something that allows us to enter into partnership relationship with God, the creator of the universe. He left us a message that will allow us to do that, and this is it. If the Bible had sound effects, it would read like this: “Ta, Ta, Ta, Da” (musical). “This then is the message which we have heard of Him and declare unto you (heralding music imitation).

 

This will allow you to work with Him. We should be hanging onto the edge of our seats to get such a message. “This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.

 

Isn’t that a message? Isn’t that something? That’s all you have to get just to enter right in there with a full, working relationship with God. Work with Him in prayer; work with Him in the Word. You would think it would’ve been simple for the Church. But we didn’t get that message. Did we? That’s what Dr. Cherry was talking about. He didn’t know whether or not to go in and get the people well. He thought perhaps God wanted to teach them a lesson. They were dying of cancer. We didn’t get the message: God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all, and even sometimes from our pulpits we would preach about “the darkness of God.” So it was difficult for us to work with Him, and difficult for us to pray. And even sometimes now, when you’ve heard the message and you’ve been taught it for years, there will still be a little dark speck back in there, that was put there long ago, hard for you to get rid of, because darkness was associated with God. But I tell you, there is coming a people that will get this message. They are going to realize and enjoy partnership with Jehovah God. Now, that’s good so far, but let’s go down to verse 7. Here’s something we’re going to move into in these last hours. Oh, I’m waiting for it. I’m crying for it. I’m believing for it. We’re going to have it. I don’t think we’ve really had it yet. But in verse 7 he says to us, “If we walk in the light as He is in the light…?”

 

Who is light? God. We just learned that two verses ago. There are lots of things in the Bible we haven’t walked in yet. But they’re there because we’re going to. He says to us here, if we walk in the light as He, Jesus is in the light, we have fellowship as partners and partakers one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son, cleanseth us from all sin. 
 

We’re going to know this fellowship before we leave. It will come to us as we walk in the light as He is in the light. Now that would have been a tall order if God had said to us, I would have thought it was a tall order if God said to us, “Now you walk in the light as Kenneth Hagin walks in the light.” I mean, to me, that is the ultimate. I know I’m prejudice. I just admit it. You walk in the light, Billye Brim, as Kenneth Hagin walks in the light. I would have said, “Well, God, is that fair? My goodness this is his 50th year of ministry. You surely don’t expect me to walk in the light as he is in the light, do you, God?” Or what if he said to you, “You walk in the light as Pastor Osteen walks in the light.” You might say, “Well, that’s a tall order. I just got saved here last Sunday morning God.” Or maybe this morning when 52 came in. What if he had said to us, “You walk in the light as the apostle Paul walked in the light.” It would have been high, huh? But he didn’t say that. He said, “You walk in the light as he is in the light.” Jesus is now in the light. And then you will know the working relationship with God and with each other in the body of Christ. He didn’t hang this out there like you hang a carrot in front of the nose of a donkey to tantalize us. He said it because we can do it.

 

I tell you, Chuck Gerard’s song that he sang at the first, that is really the message of this message. If I don’t get through, it won’t hurt. Just go hear the song. But there is coming in this day and in this hour, a people who will determine to walk in the light as He is in the light and work with God and His eternal purposes. You see, God has been working things out from the beginning, right from the beginning. And He always said to man, in ever time that man was on the earth—this is your earth walk—but other men have had other earth walks. He walked with Adam and we know that, the Bible says in the cool of the day. In Genesis 17:1, He told Abraham, you walk before Me. To all the men of the Old Testament, Micah 6:8, this is what was expected of them in the Old Testament. Let’s turn there to the book of Micah just to see how He has always said, “Walk with God.” “Walk with what God is doing in your day.” Micah 6:8, this is the Old Covenant man, this is what God showed him to do.

He hath showed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

 

In every age, all through the Word of God, each man who lived on the earth was expected to walk with God in what God was doing in that day. The first man was expected to do that. Turn back to Genesis and see how he was expected to do that. Genesis 3. Don’t send me a new Bible. I have one, but I just don’t have the nerve to start using it when I preach. Genesis 3. We’re going to take a look here at the first man and how God expected him to walk with him and God did walk with Him, and he walked with God, for a while. Walked with God, working with Him Genesis 3:8,

And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking the garden in the cool of the day:

 

This was after the fall, so we know that it was over. Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence, but we do see that the walk was there. Now I used to wonder, why did God do that. Why did God wait till the cool of the day? Did it get hot in the Garden of Eden like it gets hot in Oklahoma? Thirty days +110 straight in a row. Did God have skin that it bothered Him in the hot part of the day? Why did He wait until the cool of the day? I wondered and wondered about that until one day I got so wise in my Bible study that I noticed a little letter above the word cool. I hopped clear over to the center reference column, and there I am told in this Bible, that the Hebrew word there is the word for “wind”, ruach. This is the word always translated, in both the OT and the NT, is the literal word for wind, we translate as spirit. In the OT ruach is translated spirit and the in the NT, pneuma is translated spirit. So I saw when I was reading this that Adam was expected to walk with God in the spirit, and the move of the spirit in his day. When he fell, he fell to the realm of the intellect. So he did not walk as he should have walked with God. There was an OT man who did walk with God correctly. Let’s turn to Genesis 5:21:

And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch (He did it right) walked with God.

 

That’s really all you have to do. And this is what happened to him. “He was not; for God took him.” When you walk with God, God will share His plans for the day with you. Enoch did so and knew to name his son Methuselah. Methuselah means literally, “At his death, judgment will come.” Or at his death, the flood will come. The flood came at the death of Methuselah. Enoch knew what to name his son, and the name of his son was a witness to the people of the coming judgment. Who lived longer than any other man of earth? Methuselah. What does that speak to us of? The mercy of God. He put off judgment, He put off judgment, He put off judgment: but there came a day when it came. Enoch, his father, so walked with God that he knew to name his son Methuselah.

 

Verse 24, “And Enoch waked with God.” Now what was the message Jesus left us that will allow us to fellowship with God? God is light. So, we could say, “Enoch walked with God”, or “Enoch walked with the Light and he was not, for the light took him.” It will be said of the Church when we’ve moved into this fellowship we will know shortly, before we leave this earth. 
 

“The Church walked with God in the Light, and the Church was not, for the Light took the Church.” We’re not going out of here dark, defeated; but as the glorious Church, filled with the glory of the Lord. 
 

Now I want to share with you some things, especially about this time which we live right now. Daniel, in Daniel 12:4, spoke of the time of the end. He said concerning the time of the end, it would be marked with 2 features: People would travel to and fro in the earth, and knowledge would be increased. So we, you and I, live in this amazing century. My grandfather is a man who lived throughout most of this century. He died in 1975. In his lifetime, he traveled from Missouri to Oklahoma by wagon train. But also in his lifetime, he sat in his living room and watched men land on the moon. It was in this one century. 
 

The Lord gave Thomas Edison His information. (The Lord told me,) “In his heart, he yielded to me. I gave him information on the light bulb at the beginning of this century.” All the technology that we have that allows us to be with you by satellite television had to start with that light bulb. This is the century of light in which we live. God knew about it all the time. But He kept it hid. If we had known about it 2,000 years ago, or 1,000, we might have had it blown up by now. But God kept all this information hidden until this century, then He revealed to us about light, and the light bulb. He said, “Where you were coming this whole century, you started out with the light bulb, but where you were coming and where I was bringing you, was to the communication satellite. I was bringing you to the place where you physically invaded Satan’s territory with the communication satellite.” Physically invaded it. Tonight My voice and these words are going up there in that very place and coming back down to you. “The Heavens declare” is your motto. The glory of God! Right now we are declaring His glory in the headquarters of satan! Hallelujah!! And God said, “The power of God is going to flow through you, an explosion of God is coming and you are going to push him(satan) back.” He is going to be pushed back and have to relocate during the great power that the Church operates in for a while on the earth.

 

Also through a Jew at the beginning of this century God gave great enlightenment concerning light: Albert Einstein. People were quite ignorant of it. He made bad grades in school because he wouldn’t give the answers the way they had them about light. My daughter’s a science teacher. I said, “Honey, bring me something I can understand about Albert Einstein.” She brought me a third grade science book. I was glad. It was a little high for me, but….It talked about how the young boy would walk down the streets, and he saw the light coming between the buildings and he noticed things about it that weren’t the way Scientists were saying. God was revealing something to him. God reveals these things. God knows them. They are hidden with Him. In the year 1906, at the beginning of this century, right when we were having the baptism of the Holy Ghost and all that came about, right at that time; God was giving Albert Einstein information on light. He gave to the world his Time Dilation theory; he gave to the world great knowledge on light. These are the things he discovered and gave to us.

2. Light is the only constant.

3. Light is the only unchangeable things.

 

That’s what Einstein said. But the Bible said it first in James 1. You know this verse, Verse 17. I’ll turn there and read it quickly.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

God caused to come into my hands, a tape by a Full Gospel businessman from California, who is a scientist. He gave these next facts that I want to share with you about light, about God and the light that He has given to us. He said, Einstein discovered that Light is constant, that light is the only constant, that light is the only unchangeable thing. He also said that light travels. It travels at a great speed: 186,272 miles per second. If you fired a gun whose bullet traveled at the speed of light it would travel the circumference of the globe 7 times before you could remove your finger from the trigger. It travels. If you walk with God in the light, you are not going to be like a turtle! 
 

You know, we’re for progress everywhere. We’re for progress in Science. We’re for progress in medicine. But we’re going to have to be for progress in the church. We’re going to have to be for those people who come on and say, “Yes! I can walk like Jesus in the light.” 
 

Now quickly, we’re going to pretend you’re all in a spaceship. You’re going to take a 30 day trip. You’re going to go out 15 days and come back 15 days. That’s 30 days. You’re going to travel at approximately 80% of the speed of light. You’re going to go and when you come back you’re going to be 30 days older. But when you get back, I’m going to be 60 days older. I’m not going with you. Then you’re going to take a second trip. You’re going to speed up and go about 90% of the speed of light or so. You’re going to go out 15 days and come back 15 days. That’s 30 days in all. When you come back, having sped up, I’m going to be 10 years older. You’ll only be 30 days older. I’ll wish I went with you. Those are approximate. But this is disappearing, (Einstein learned that matter cannot travel the speed of light, because as soon as it attains the speed of light, it disappears.) If we hold to just under the speed of light, and you go out 15 days and come back 15 days. That’s 30 days. You’ll be 30 days older. But earth will be 30,000 years older, exactly. These are exact figures. We’re going to divide that and get that down to a simple equation. Divide that by the largest number we can, 30 days for you and 30,000 years for earth. It comes out exactly, one day is as a thousand years; and a thousand years is as one day. God just wants us to see He was right about it. All of these things are in here.
 

I Timothy 1:16 will give you Einstein’s theory of relativity. We don’t have time to read it. But it’s in here! It’s all in here! Everything’s in here!! Glory to God!! I’ll tell you things are going to happen! All God had to do to Phillip to get him over in another place was speed him up! That’s all! Don’t you faint at some of the things that are going to happen! Don’t you say, “God can’t do that!” We work with a man in Russia that God has transported all over the place!! Praise the Lord!! This is nothing little we’re doing tonight: satellite. It’s not just because it’s nice and we want people to be blessed. That’s good and everything. But we’ve come to an age and a time.

 

I just want to show you from the Word of God, turn with me to I Timothy. We’ve got to see God’s wonderful, beautiful, precious, magnificent Word. I Timothy 6:16. This scientist who was telling this was not a Christian. He was a professor who taught in a school in California. He didn’t believe in God. Now he is out giving testimony for Full Gospel Businessmen. You can get his tapes by writing Costa Mesa. (You don’t care if I say that, do you?) It’s God! We’re to a time. We’re to a place! We’re not going to miss it. We’re going to come on. We’re going to be what we’re supposed to be. He was challenged by one of his students. He taught evolution. One of his students said to him, “Professor, they’ve got computers these days. If what you believe is so, and that man has been on the earth millions of years, evolving and evolving and evolving….put all the known factors that we know in those computers and find out what earth’s population would be.” He said, “Now the Bible says that in such and such a time, there was a flood and 8 souls were left. Put that in the computer with all the wars and all the pestilence and all the tings we know, and let’s see what the earth’s population would be.” And the Professor took the challenge. He found out that if what he had been teaching were so, there wouldn’t be enough room on the earth for all the people. 
 

Then he put those 8 souls in there and it came out, exactly the population of the earth, 4 billion +. Then he said, “I started studying backwards. I knew the things we knew from science, and I found them in the written Word of God all the time.” Among other things he talked about, and brought out facts about Einstein’s theory about light. God is light. Of course, he is talking about natural light. But God is the Great Light from which natural light comes and is a pattern of! Einstein discovered that light is constant. It moves, it travels at 186, 272 miles per second, but it is constant. It’s the only constant. It is the only unchangeable thing! Then Einstein discovered what we just went through. If you could travel the speed of light, strange things would happen to you. But he knew you couldn’t travel it, because if you did travel it, nothing material he said could go the speed of light: for as soon as it did travel the speed of light, it would disappear. Einstein discovered that if you could travel the speed of light, strange things would happen. #1. You would live forever. (Einstein) You would be immortal.

 

Sister Clara Grace. You know the night she had the great visit of God in your meeting in Dallas, Texas, in about 1962? She was a great prophetess of God. Brother Osteen had a meeting in Dallas, and I guess you had Brother Hagin come for a guest speaker. You didn’t know sister Grace. She came with Brother Hagin. I guess one of the greatest visitations of God in her life, came that night. She said it came when Brother Hagin made this statement. He said, “When science discovered timelessness, they discovered eternity and God.” And he made a statement that God will reveal the hidden things in a parallel fashion. As they are coming to us spiritually, as the light is brighter in the Church…..You know what happened in the dark Ages? They locked up the Bible and they weren’t creative. But at the turn of this century, we had that great, what we call the Holy Ghost outpouring, and I mean, when that Holy Ghost outpouring came, right at that time was when Einstein got that information about the light. That’s when Edison got information about the light. Really they should have had it long ago. But they came back into it. It was restored to them. Brother Hagin said that night, “These realms of God’s knowledge will travel simultaneously, side by side.” When he made that statement in that meeting, God took her out and gave her a great visitation of God. I don’t have time to tell it all to you tonight, but there are some things awaiting us. We are going to walk with God. We’re not going to be just little baby Christians. We’re just going to get over it. That’s what we’re going to do. We’re going to get over fussing and fighting like little two year olds. We’re going to know a little bit about the glory on us, and how to treat each other. And that lesson last night, about how to have our spirits up. I mean you pray in the Holy Ghost like he said, and you’re praying with that river of God down through you!! Hallelujah!!

 

So, Einstein he said, discovered some things about light. That if you traveled the speed of light, strange things would happen to you. #1. You would live forever. You would have passed time. And the little exercise we went through a while ago, was the Time Dilation theory of passing time. All you have to do to pass time is speed up. Hallelujah! But Einstein said that matter cannot travel at the speed of light, for as soon as it does, it ceases to be matter. This scientist whose tape I heard, said this was in the Bible. Einstein….it took all those centuries for that information to come to us, and the Apostle Paul wrote about it to Timothy. I Timothy 6:16,

Who only (speaking of Jesus Christ) hath immortality dwelling in the light, which no man can approach unto.

See, nothing natural can approach the speed.

 Who only (Jesus, deity, God) hath immortality (why?) dwelling in the light, which no man can approach unto, whom no man has seen, nor can see; to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.

 

It’s here. It’s all here in this written Word of God. Now we have this man we work with in Russia, an underground pastor. He’s been in jail many times. They offered to get him out of Russia, three times. They’ve begged him to leave. God said to him, “You may go if you want to.” He has teenage children, and they’ve been in Siberia. Even the children. “You may go if you want to; but this is my first plan for your life, that you head up this work here and the underground press work in this city.” So the last time we were with him, he told us about how Jesus Christ has been visiting him. And about how Jesus Christ has been speaking to him about the glory of the Lord filling the whole earth, and about the glorious church.

 

We call him Paul; we call him Russian Paul. God said to us that he was that man of Hebrews 11:35. You know the great Hebrews book, and the heroes of faith, it talks about this one escaped and that one escaped, and all the things they did. Then it says, “But others were tortured, not accepting deliverance.” See, he had deliverance offered to him. The KGB wanted him out. They offered 3 times for him to leave. But he didn’t choose the deliverance. It says in Hebrews 11:35 that they didn’t do it, “that they might have a better resurrection.” So, he’ll have a high place in resurrection. So we said to him the year before, I said, “Brother Paul, we’ll be back.” He said, “I don’t know if you’ll have a chance to be back or not. The Lord Jesus is telling me about His soon return.” Then he shared with us that God is taking him all over Russia without means of airplanes, trains, or vehicles, to teach and preach the new things he has learned about the message of faith.

 

Some things are about to happen. Wondrous things, marvelous things. They already are happening. But they’re not going to happen to people who pray. They’re going to happen with people who walk in the light as He is in the light. They are not going to happen to somebody who sits out on the edge and is like the brother said tonight, just flaky and mean and ornery. If they have a message in tongues, and you don’t let them give it, they get mad and stomp out. No, no. They’re not going to have it. But I’m going to tell you one thing: No flake, and no fanatic is going to keep me from walking with God!! No flakes, no fanatics, no move of fanaticism….that’s how satan stopped things long ago. He came around and said, “Why look at this excess, and look at that excess. You better control it.” And so….it was stopped. Many things were stopped. But, O Hallelujah! We’ve the groundwork of the Word of God that no other generation has had. You’ve had so much Word fed into you here in this church, that devil ought never to be able to see you, in a million years!! And we’re going to do it. We’re going to go on.

 

I’ll never forget what Brother Osteen said that one time we came here. “We’re going to have some Christians who strike 12.” This church can show the world, and God has given you satellite to do it. And you get to move as a congregation right up there in the front lines. Kapow!! God started it off and gave Edison the light bulb, just so Lakewood could do it!! That’s the truth! And you’ll have to do it right and you’ll have to do it God’s way and you’ll have to move in love and with the blessings and power of God. You’ll have to do just what you did tonight: Move in here and have the Holy Ghost anoint, and come down and move up through those waves and down, up beams and down beams. You’ll not be able to do it by programs and shenanigans and entertainment.
 

One night we were in a meeting with Brother Hagin and he got to cheerleading. He got

Do you hear that satan? How do you like that coming right up here in your atmosphere? Woooooooooooo!! Glory to God!! We’re partners with God. Angels were saying that at the same time too, I know. This is a big thing we’re part of. 
 

 I command you satan in the name of the Lord,

 to take up your weapons and flee.

 For the Lord has given me authority,

 to walk all over thee.

We’re going to march now. Don’t sit down. I’m going to quit. We’re going to march now, on the offensive. We’ve been on the defensive too long. We had to be on the defense because we didn’t mind God’s law. We didn’t walk in love. We touched the anointed of God. We acted like we could walk in darkness and get His blessings. Like, “It would be all right for me, after all, I am a preacher. I could walk in a little darkness.” You know. God has worked on me so much, and he’s helped me to walk in love by the Word of God and by my knowing that the love of God is shed abroad in my spirit and my mind knowing I Cor. 13:4-8 in the Amplified. He turned a touchy girl, who noticed everything wrong in the whole world, into a person, I tell you the truth, I don’t notice suffered wrongs. Man, you talk about a freedom, that is one. Boy, I mean it was the greatest deliverance I ever had in my life. But there is one thing that makes me “prinkle” all over. When I hear one member of the Body of Christ speaking against another, I feel it from my head to my feet. The Body of Christ has been wounded, and the one who has wounded it has not been the enemy. The one who has wounded it has been the Body of Christ. So we’re going to quit it. And we’re going to get over it. And we’re going to walk in the light. If it’s dark, even a smidgen of Darkness, it’s not God, and we’re not going to walk in it. I am not compelled by the Most High God to tell you the latest dirt I know on some great preacher. Bless the Lord! I’ll quit in just a minute. 
 

I wanted to share this this morning. I got baptized in the Holy Ghost a Baptist girl, well a Baptist lady. I was 29 years old in 1967. Just to save time, I’ll tell you, I’m 45 now. Oh, it was glory. I was dazzled. I began to speak out like a fountain was let loose in me. I’d been saved 20 years. It was so wonderful and marvelous. I went to the meetings. It just happened to be the week that Oral Roberts quit the Pentecostal Church and joined the Methodist Church. And the Pentecostals were in a furor!! And me, I’d just learned to love Oral Roberts that week. All my life long I didn’t think he was of God. I thought he was a shyster and everything else. That week when I got baptized in the Holy Ghost, I loved him! Then immediately I heard that they were all mad at him and thought he had surely deserted God. I went home, and got before the Lord, and said, “Lord, what 22 am I going to do?” It was a traumatic thing for me. I’d just learned to love him. What should I do? And God gave me the scripture, “Who are you to judge another man’s servant? Whether he stands or whether he falls?” Then God says, “I’ll make him stand.” That day, I was delivered for ever of having to judge Oral Roberts Ministry. Wasn’t that wonderful!! I don’t have to decide day-by-day if Oral Roberts is following God or not. Since 1967 I’ve been free of it. Bless the Lord.

 

Oh, I just wish I could say everything that’s in my heart, and everything that I feel, and everything that I cry about in prayer. What it is, it’s for the Body now, the Body of Christ, the Anointed of God. We can come on and walk in the light as He is in the light, and He can have this working relationship with the Body that He has designed and groomed us for, forever, as long as we’ve been here, the Church. And I can quit walking in darkness, can you? I can quit touching God’s anointed, can you? I can quit laying across my tongue the reputation of a servant of God. Just think of it. This tongue, the Bible calls it our glory, made for blessing God. And you see, we take the same tongue, and we lay across it the preachers, the ones that God has sometimes brought to the forefront. I tell you, when you get brought up there….the devil, he’s not like God. God is omnipresent. There is only one satan. He can’t get around to everybody. He probably hasn’t been around to you. But he’s visited Oral Roberts. He’s visited the President of the United States. He’s visited Kenneth Hagin. He’s visited Kenneth Copeland. I’m sure he’s visited you. And so, this high class of temptation which we’ve never known, and someone begins to teeter, or they have an attack, and we pick up and decide how they’ve missed it, done wrong, and exactly how they’ve got to straighten it out, all over a cup of coffee and a hamburger. It’s not right. And we have to repent of it. And preachers have to repent of it. They’re all going to make it. Glory to God!! That’s it!!

 

You know they brought a Brannam film to Rhema. We know that in his last days, the devil came against him and he got kind of out the place he should have been operating from as a prophet. I am not going to judge him. I’m telling you that right now. But the devil attacked him, we’ll just say that. And he died before his time. They showed those films, and I saw that gift operate. And I saw the most precious gift of God, I started crying from the first. I wept and wept and wept because I knew we weren’t seeing a gift like that right now. He stood up there and talked about how he loved Jesus. The day he died he said, “I’m still going to have the same testimony.” This was a time in his life when he was very humble. He said, “I’m still going to have the testimony. I love Jesus.” When I saw the film, I saw the greatness of the gift that God placed on him. And I felt the heart of God, for he knew what a hard thing it was to bear that much glory in an earthly tabernacle. 
 

You remember when Elisha followed hard after Elijah? “I’m not going to leave you.” Elijah was going to go be caught up. Now I’ve gotta go here, gotta go there, gotta go to Gilgal. You stay back there Elisha. No!! I’m following you as my soul lives. I’m staying with you. And he stayed with Elijah until Elijah was caught up. And he said what do you want. And he said, I want a double portion. And Elijah said, You have asked a hard thing. He didn’t mean that it was hard for God to give him that. He meant, Man, it’s hard for a human to bear it, that double portion. Some human packages, earthly tabernacles have the glory in them. Hallelujah! We’re going to pray for them. We’re not going to have them for dinner along with our meat, are we? When we pray we’re not going to be critical prayers. 
 

One time Hyde was praying for a minister, and he said, “O God, that ministry is messing up,” and this and this, and this. Straighten him up, etc., etc., etc., and a big finger came out from Heaven and went right across his mouth and went shhhhh! And then he just went to praying in the Spirit and God was able to change the man. This is walking in the light. See, God is what? Light. And in Him is no darkness at all. So how much darkness should we participate in if we are going to walk with Him in the light? None. Is that possible? I John says it is. We’re going to walk in the high things and the big things. If you know it, tonight we’ve walked in the high things and the big things. Paul and Peter would have fainted if they could have seen the ability John Osteen would have. Paul had to get on boats and go around the world and winter in a harbor here, and do this and that to get a handful of people. Brother Osteen just goes to the Heavens. This satellite is off, huh? 
 

I want to tell you, I was with a pastor last week, it’s life and death, but he sits under this man’s ministry. For him and for his church. Nobody wants to go that place. Nobody wants to pastor there. He’s the only one there and he’s got a people. He doesn’t know anything about being a pastor, nothing. He’s made some bad mistakes and people are mad. And you’re going to get to go to him every time. And he’s going to get to watch you. I was talking to him tonight. “You sit under here and take this for your Bible School.” It’s big. And it’s all of us together. It’s working as one. Here you are. I’d kind of like to take up an offering for the satellite. But I don’t know. Is that all right? I am just moved on by that, this is it. This is it!! This is walking in the light. This is moving in might. This is moving in power. This is big. This isn’t little. Give your self to God. Go with the Lord God and watch the light move in your life. And watch the darkness leave. Hallelujah!! Could the ushers come? Is that how you do it? Bless the Lord! Praise the Lord!!

Behold, saith the Lord, I have gathered My troops from the east and from the west, and from the north and from the south. I have gathered them together and I have caused them to stand shoulder to shoulder, and they have been in My presence day and night, crying and weeping before My face. I have prepared them and I have equipped them with everything that is good, and everything that they will need for the battles, saith God. And now, they begin the march, for this is the noise that the Body of Christ is hearing. It is the march of the soldiers of God as they march through the land and possess and take by force the things that I have given to them saith God. Therefore, I have sent them over the land and I have sent them over the sea, saith God. And yea, saith the Lord, I have those even who have rose upon the wings of eagles and who have soared into the heavens, and have dared enter into the principalities and the powers and the darkness and wickedness. I have caused them to rise up as they have come before me and intercede and wept and travailed, morning, noon, and night before the face of God. And I have caused them to arise into the heavens and they have broken up the strongholds of satan and they are pulling them down even now, saith God. And behold, saith the Lord, I even sent out, saith God, the intercessors to bring back those that were weak, those that were wounded in battle. And because of the pray-ers and their heartfelt cry for the love of the Body of Christ, saith God, I have raised them up to be strong men and women of God, and they too shall rise upon the wings of an eagle, and they shall rise. They shall rise, saith God, into the heavens and behold the glory of God. Therefore, saith God, arise with Me, walk with Me, talk with Me everyday. Let Me breathe through you, let Me move through you, saith God. For you see, saith the Lord, the time is at hand that My glory will come to the Body of Christ. Yes, My glory will come, saith the Lord, but you must walk with Me every day.
